As you know dears, that videos are essential for having effective and interesting classes. I want to know your opinions about the benefits of using videos inside classrooms. In other words, why are we (as teachers) using videos inside our classrooms?
Actually, there are many advantages of using videos in classrooms, some of them are:

- To have more "authentic" speaking exercises.
- They provide more opportunities for students to speak.
- Possibility for the tired teacher to take a short rest while
students watching the video-but don't use it as a simple "time
filler"!
- Intensive "production" speaking exercises.
- Videos can be used for both accuracy and fluency type of
exercises.
Technology in General is very crucial to be used inside classrooms. One of the equipment of technology which Omani schools should involve is videos. The use of videos is very important to reinforce the process of teaching because by using videos the students can easily link what is outside the classroom to the inside classroom. Videos can also help the students to get the understanding of such an idea easily and quickly. In addition to the fact that the use of videos is beneficial for students, it is useful for teachers as well. Candidly, using videos in the classroom is a very effective way to enhance the learning processes. Also, one cannot ignore the fact that students have a fertilized imagination that might be employed in supporting the students study the language visually. Students can benefit from technology so much while they are studying. One kind of technology is video which is very beneficial in students' performance inside class. One benefit is that video gives students an image which may help them. For example, if students have a story, they can watch it as a movie if it is possible.
